The American Association for Justice’s 2025 Annual Convention will be held at The Moscone Center South.

Registration kiosks will be available in the Moscone Center South. The registration hours are as follows:

Attending an AAJ Convention is an exclusive benefit provided only to the following AAJ member types and their guests: Regular, Sustaining, President’s Club, Life, Paralegal Affiliates, Government, Military, Retired, Law Students, Law Graduates, and Law Professors. Judges as well a State and Provincial Trial Lawyers Association Directors and their Staff are welcome.

Family members may register for the Spouse/Guest Package. This entitles them to admission to the Exhibit Hall, the Opening Reception, Membership Luncheon, Incoming Presidents Party and the many receptions taking place during the convention.

Registration fees are based on the number of years an AAJ member has been in practice. The registration fee breakdowns are on the registration form. Direct them to the AAJ on- site Registration area located in the South Lobby of the Moscone Center South Building.

You have until July 11, 2025, to register by phone, but you can register throughout the convention online until July 21, 2025.

A la carte tickets are not sold for this event; Members must be registered for the Total package to attend. Any Spouse/or Guest who wants to attend would need to be registered to go and that fee is $645.00 until April 4th and then it will be $745.00. Youth ages 7-17 can register for this for $75.00. They can register on-site at the Registration desk.

Yes, if you are an AAJ Law Student member. If not, you must become a member. You can do this at on-site registration located in the South Lobby of the Moscone Center South Building.

AAJ has secured housing at the Marriott Marquis San Francisco and the W San Francisco. Housing is available for AAJ members attending the convention. To register for housing, please go to: AAJ 2025 Annual Convention Housing.

You can submit them through the Convention App, as well at CLE kiosks located within the registration area in lobby of the Moscone Center South to submit your CLE credits electronically.

Anyone at the AAJ Booth located in the San Francisco Ballroom, Level 2 of the Moscone Center South Building can assist you.

Go to the AAJ Registration Area, On-Site Registration Counter to request a new one. Your badge is your admission to all meetings and events and will need to be replaced and it will cost $25.00 for the reprint.

If your friends are staying at the hotel, you may want to leave a message in their room. AAJ does not page members at its meetings. You can also message attendees through the Convention app.

The app for the Convention will be available for download approximately one week prior to the convention. You will receive an email prior to this, containing the download instructions along with your login and password to access the app.

If you are a member and a speaker, you must pay a registration fee. Registration fees are based on the number of years you have been in practice. If you are not a member and are an invited speaker, go to the Registration area and an AAJ staff member will assist you. (All invited speakers must have been approved by the AAJ Education Department and should already be registered.)

The Speaker Ready Room is TBA. Please encourage all speakers to go there to upload their presentations so they can test them out.

Yes, you can transfer your registration. The person must be a member of AAJ and an eligible member type to attend the convention. Please email conventioncancellation@justice.org and be sure to include the new registrants name and contact information.

All Cancellations must be submitted in writing to AAJ at CONVENTIONCANCELLATION@JUSTICE.ORG.

CANCELLATION POLICY: All cancellations must be submitted in writing to AAJ. Cancellations received by May 9, 2025, are subject to a 10% cancellation fee. Cancellations received between May 10 and June 13, 2025, will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. After June 13, 2025, requests for refunds or transfers will not be honored. Please email your cancellation request to conventioncancellation@justice.org.

AAJ will not cancel your hotel reservation; you must do that directly with at Resiada at AAJconvention@resiada.com. After the housing cut-off of June 25, 2025, you will need to contact the hotel directly.

You can check at the Concierge in the lobby of the Marriott Marquis San Francisco or W San Francisco Hotels who will be able to assist you with restaurant suggestions and entertainment ideas.

Yes, there will be WIFI at the convention. The information will be provided onsite upon check-in.

The dress code for the Annual Convention is Business Causal for AAJ functions.

Yes, lost items should be left at the AAJ Registration desk, located in the lobby level of the Moscone Center South building. At the end of the day, items will be turned over to security.

The 2025 elections will be held during the Annual AAJ Membership Business and Elections Meeting beginning at 5:15pm. PST on Sunday, July 20 in TBA.

Candidates for non-contested election will be elected during the meeting.

Electronic voting will be conducted for the contested election for the for the office of Parliamentarian, beginning at the conclusion of the Business and Elections Meeting and continuing until 12 pm PST on Tuesday, July 22.

To be eligible to vote in the 2025 AAJ National Officer Elections, you must meet all the following requirements:

  • You must be a voter member of AAJ, which is limited to these member categories: Regular Life, Sustaining, President’s Club, Honorary life: or retired members who formerly Regular, Life, Sustaining, or President’s Club Member
  • You must be a voter member of AAJ in good standing for at least 30 Days prior to the start of the Annual Convention (June 18, 2025)
  • You must be a paid registrant for the full convention week (registered for the “Total Package” or “Education Programs Only”)
  • You must personally check in at the Annual Convention, receive an AAJ convention badge onsite, and agree that no other person will Allowed to cast your vote
  • We encourage you to attend the Membership Business and Elections Meeting, but it is not required to vote

The 2026 Winter Convention will be held in San Diego, CA at the Hotel Del Coronado, February 21-24. The 2026 Annual Convention will be held in Chicago, Illinois at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, July 22-30.

Members can register by picking up the registration form at AAJ Booth. Once completed, drop it off at the AAJ Booth, located in the San Francisco Ballroom, Level 2 of the Moscone Center South Building.
